Instructions
Here's how the Padlet world map works.
All contributions from around the world are displayed on a shared interactive world map.
Each pin represents a person and their favorite tree.
Here's how to set your pin and join this growing community.

It all starts with the tree...
Have you finished your post and are you ready to publish it?
Okay, then check the following points...
The Checklist
Only once you've checked off all the items will you be ready to be added to the world map.

You've found the tree that serves as your inspiration.

You've created your story, poem, sketch, drawing, painting, or photo...
Additional information
You should have photographs of your sketches, drawings, paintings, and all other images saved in JPG or PNG format. The files should be no larger than 1 MB; 500 KB is preferable.
You can format text in Padlet (select the text, and a small toolbar will appear). There is no known character limit.
No matter what language you use to write your post, please always provide an English version as well.
The procedure
1 - Open the world map
Scroll down this page to the embedded map—or click the button to open it directly. The interactive Padlet map will open in full view.
2 - Find the location
Before you really get started, you should first find the location on the map. That will make it easier for you to place the pin.
4 - Set the pin
1 - You can find the location using the search function or by placing a pin.
2 - Take the pin and place it on the world map.
3 - You will then be asked what name you want to use for the PIN—select the one that's right for you.
5 - Add photos and text
1 - You will now see the submission form. At the top, you can add media; in the middle is the text area; and below that are additional fields for your contact information (email address, website URL, social media, etc.).
2 - Clicking “All Tools” will give you an overview of all the available options.
3 - Enter your text, and be sure to include an English version as well.
No Padlet account required
You can get started right away—no registration required. The advantage of a free Padlet account is that you can edit or add to your post later on.
Posts are being reviewed
All pins will be briefly reviewed. We want to ensure that the board remains a welcoming and respectful space.
